Chris joined Crestmark in 2014 as National Sales Director, with responsibility for development of the SBA product portfolio. Subsequently he was promoted to division president of Crestmark’s Government Guaranteed Lending (GGL) business unit, and in 2020 his role was expanded to division president of Crestmark Equipment Finance (CEF), Crestmark Vendor Finance (CVF), the Crestmark Joint Venture group (JV), Alternative Energy Finance, and Product Development, as well as GGL.
Prior to Crestmark, Chris had almost 20 years of diverse experience comprised of origination, underwriting and management for loan products consisting of senior, second lien and subordinated debt within the performing, stressed and distressed sectors. He was Managing Director for a special opportunity fund which provided creative capital solutions, in the form of debt or equity, to platforms in niche industries. His significant experience as a lender, an equity shareholder and as a financial advisor allows him to provide his clients with more than just a capital solution.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Ferris State University and is a graduate of the Executive Education Program with a concentration in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business.
Having lived in several cities through his career, this Michigan native fully believes that his basketball skills are at near-professional level.
