A veteran of the commercial finance industry, Larry joined Crestmark in 2005 as vice president of underwriting, and later oversaw underwriting for the company’s Midwest Region. In 2013 Larry was chosen to head Crestmark’s newly established Joint Ventures (JV) division, created to facilitate key referral relationships with other banking institutions that want to help clients in need of a non-traditional lender, and sometimes, a custom funding solution. In 2015 he was named executive vice president, joint ventures group president. In 2020 Larry was promoted to business unit president, assuming leadership of Crestmark Vendor Finance (CVF) in addition to his responsibilities with the JV business unit.
Before joining Crestmark, Larry was vice president and account executive at Finova Capital Corporation, and a field examiner/financial analyst for Fremont Financial. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ferris State University.
Originally from Muskegon, Michigan, Larry now resides in Clarkston with his wife, Cheryl, and twin daughters, Hadley and Addison.
He is an avid hunter, sports’ fan, and a season-ticket holder for the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions. He passionately follows Ferris State University Football, where he played offensive guard for the Bulldogs in the early 90s.
